Please enjoy (idk or don’t) this playlist of contemporary works for bass clarinet, in celebration of the first Bachelor of Music and Master of Music concentrations in bass clarinet, now available at Arizona State University. I realize that contemporary works for an instrument that isn’t very old sounds a little funny, but here we are. If you want to know more about the maker of the bass clarinet, I suggest watching this informative video.
If you don’t think 2 and a half hours of bass clarinet is AWESOME, think again and listen up. I was chatting in a Discord that revolves around politics and religion (the anger and the first and the deconstructing of the latter) and someone sent me Sqwonk’s album Black because they thought I might like it. It’s in the air.
I give this playlist a Difficult Listening Hour rating of 8/10.
Please note that some works will not be present on the YouTube playlist.
